Can we cover the lamp shade?

Due to safety concerns, only the first 3 cm of the bottom of the lamp shade may be covered/touching your solar cooker. The remainder of the lamp shade must be completely exposed to the outside air (so nothing can be covering it). In addition, nothing can be within the interior area of the shade and guard.
